Britney Britney Britney

My mom volunteers for the Red Cross and since she does it so much she gets free tickets to events at the ES Arena. (delta center) The most recent one was the Britney Spears concert. Well I don't really like her that much now, but I used to love her music so I figured that if anything else it would be entertaining. So my sister and I decided to go. Well......it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be at least. The Pussycat Dolls opened for her and their show was actually pretty good. I realized that some of the songs that I hear on the radio that I like were actually the Pussycat Dolls and I didn't even realize it. After them, there was this really weird and random circus act that had some pretty cool stuff, but their acts got old quickly. But it wasn't like it sucked. So after a LONG circus act, Britney FINALLY decided to come to her own concert or shall I say show. I think in order for it to be considered a concert you actually have to sing, which she didn't. The first couple of songs were some of my favorites, you know, like Circus and Piece of Me and her new stuff, but throughout the whole show she kept leaving and there were all these other performances. As the show went on it got more and more provocative. By the end of the night I felt like I needed to take a shower and repent. But honestly, it wasn't too terrible. I'm glad I got to go, I just don't think that next time she comes to town I will rush to accept my moms offer for free tickets. At least the PCD (pussycat dolls) put on a good show. Oh and BTW, moms out there, Britney is totally not a suitable role model. It was so sad to see so many little kids there with their parents and then to think of some of the songs and dances that get ingrained into those innocents childrens' heads. So sad. I was shocked to see so many kids there and especially shocked to see them dressed in mini skirts and tube tops when it was snowing outside! What the heck! Well I guess I live in a little bubble and don't realize all the weird people out there.
